Five Civil War Veterans

Going To Gettysburg

C. C. McCullough, of Ridley Park, another of the vets at the reunion, is hale and hearty and keeps himself busy with his garden, and defies anyone to find the sign of a weed in it.

He was at one time a member of Bradbury Post, of Media. Grand Army of the Republic, but is now a member-at-large. He will be 96 on Christmas Day.

The battles Mr. McCuIlough were in were many. He was wounded in the battle of the Wilderness, May 5. 1864 and again in the battle of Cedar Creek on October 19, 1864. He enlisted as a corporal in the Sixth Maryland Infantry. Co. B, and was discharged June 20, 1865.
